Watch the story. Keep the English in play.
Stories include Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Little Match Girl, The Stone Soup and Under the Sea. Each of the 32 units is named for the story or world its lessons explore.
Every unit opens with an animated video and includes an e-book. Lessons return to the story’s language.
Inside a story unit
Where does everything belong?
Ask a question about home: where would you eat breakfast, brush your teeth or go to bed?

- Explore the unit. The Goldilocks and the Three Bears unit includes Leo's House, I Spy and Where Is the Little Mouse?
- Ask about breakfast. In Leo's House, the recording names the living room, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and bedroom. Invite pupils to name the room they would choose for breakfast.
- Put things away. I Spy asks children to return household objects to the rooms they belong in. Ask pupils where an object belongs before they return it.
- Bring the question home. Ask pupils to name a room in their own home and say what they do there.
Opening frames from the activities.
Find the right starting point for your class.
Which pupils is the material for?
The material is written for young learners. No single age band fits every school, so which of your year groups it suits is a judgement for your academic team, looking at the real activities.
How should our teachers choose a unit?
Take a topic from your scheme of work. Read the activities with your class in mind: which words would you introduce, and what would you ask pupils to say?
Is there a curriculum alignment map?
We do not publish a curriculum alignment map — an honest one needs a reviewer working to your syllabus.
Can we ask to see an activity in use?
Request a demonstration with an activity in mind. Tell us what you would like to see and which class you are considering it for.
